by Tom Walter, CEO of Tasty Catering
Tom Walter has been a food service professional for more than 38 years. During this time, he has owned 27 businesses. He is still active as a principal in seven of those corporations. Tom is known for his expertise in developing and maintaining company cultures, leadership and business infrastructures.
In 2008 and 2009, Tasty Catering was named the number one Best Place to Work in Illinois in the small-to-medium category by the Illinois Chamber of Commerce and Society of Human Resource Managers. TC was also named, in 2008 and 2009, one of Wall Street Journals Top 35 Small Workplaces. Tasty Catering was named Caterer of the Year by Catering Magazine in 2008. Tom serves as a member of the Advisory Council in the Marketing Department at DePaul University and is on the board of five Chicago firms.
